Alegoria da Monografia is a graduate project by a plastic artist, poetically portraying the raw and intense aspects of love through the merging of three texts.

The design of the book was carefully crafted in collaboration with the artist. To visually capture the visceral and passionate nature of the text, different coloured papers were chosen for each section so, when viewed from the fore-edge, the pages reveal a reminiscent appearance of cut flesh. Notably, the pinkish paper used in the third chapter draws inspiration from traditional butcher paper used in Brazil to wrap meat. The cover, made of red sandpaper, adds a tactile and symbolic representation, emphasising the thematic elements and roughness.
